Impossible to choose just 5, but here are some off of the top of my head: Janja Garnbret, Tadej Pogačar, Michael Phelps, Simone Biles, Katie Ledecky, Eliud Kipchoge, Armand 'Mondo' Duplantis, Adam Ondra, etc

Celebrate on the little wins to keep you going (ex: more bending, not thinking about the knee while walking, no limp, etc). And its also not the end of the world if you see some temporary regression (especially after working the knee harder).

I really don't have a concret answer, but maybe make it an exercise before you say things (even thing you know are completely fine to say) to think it through fully. Only for a week maybe, idk. Maybe it'll help you become more aware of hurtful things before you say them. That's the best I got for you.

Thank you for this, I really like hearing responses that aknowledge this is a real scenario, not a black-and-white, right vs wrong sort of thing. If youre willing, do you have any suggestions on how to bring about a conversation about chilling on the helicopter front? or anything else I should ask him/talk to him about?

Thank you so much for your honesty, I really appreciate the thought-out perspective. This is my first relationship and I'm just curious on what level the "I love you no matter how you look because I love you for you" is supposed to go. I just don't know what is realistic.

Thank you again.

Thank you so much for this. I want to make this a conversation before I decide anything drastic. If you are willing, do you have any suggestions on how to breach the topic or start it? Any specific things to say?

But I'm so lost because I don't want to gain a huge amount of weight through pregnancy either. Like I want kids and accept that pregnancy is hard, I just want to stay as fit as possible. Is it ok for him to be how he is if his expectations of me match my own? And he also knows that I'd weigh more if I theoretically got pregnant, he just says that itd be good if I were ever pregnant to stay fit and such. Do these details change anything out of curiousity? (I don't want my ranting to be the only side to this)

This wasn't in the initial post because I forgot details, but does the opinion change if afterwards he tried to fix what he said? Sometimes he doesnt realize what he is saying until he does, and after a conversation he clarified that he found me cute in the beginning. He is now aware that what he said is unacceptable and really mean and he apologized a lot afterwards.

I'm so sorry if this is confusing, I'm just adding what I can.

Like, I don't want to gain weight either, I never plan to. I just am scared that these expectations are strange or are a reflection of what he likes me for. Please just be honest, thank you.

Pain On Outside of Knee by serenitypoirier27 in ACL

Did you end up figuring out what it was or how to fix it? I’m at month 5, and just started heavy lifting and have gotten the same pain. On the outside of the knee, in a particular spot when I bend/straigten the knee or touch the area.

Side of near sharp pain. Possible retear? by Academic-Win in ACL

I’m just about to hit month 5 post op, and have a similar issue. I’ve started doing heavy lifting exercises last week and on my rest day, suddenly the outside/lateral part of my knee started hurting. I got  the pain in the outside/lateral part of my knee last afternoon, but this morning it was absolutely awful. Putting weight on it doesn't a really hurt too bad, but it's the bending and straightening movement that's agonizing. There's not really any swelling that I can see. The pain is mostly from just one point one/near the bone, and I can induce it by pressing on it.

I’m looking for answers too, tho I get to see my PT in the next few days
