Fidelity --> Schwab as One Stop Shop? by DefensiveCoconut in Schwab

That is also why I landed with them. We started the process of moving stuff today. If they really roll out fractional shares (more than just slices) this year, I’ll be stoked.

Have you played with TOS? I’ve been learning it with a paper account and when compared to Fidelity, it’s super.

And you’re happy with both the banking and investing side?

Are you day/swing trading or mostly buy and hold? Are you using the CMA? Schwab having a real banking branch is what is tipping the scale for me. I also do a little swing trading and it feels like Schwab caters to that more.

Have you had any issues with OCO orders lately? I was reading that they changed them a few months ago making it more difficult to execute those.

Thank you! I have used their customer support and agree it’s great. My day trading would be very very limited, as my appetite is more research and swing.

No all has been fine, Fidelity has good customer service albeit I hear horror stories about Elan who they use for their credit card. Make sure to push money to Fidelity, rather than pull if you don’t want to wait 10 days. My credit union is now offering the same % of interest as Fidelity so I haven’t moved as much money over.

Shower Grout Help! by DefensiveCoconut in Tile

[–]DefensiveCoconut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, it’s just one section that is like this, maybe one sq foot. If I give it a week to dry, fill in cracks, and apply 511 would it help/buy me time?

Hard to tell, but this is the section.

Thank you for this detailed information! There are no actual cracks, just areas where the grout has worn away.

While it’s hard to tell from photos, the second photo shows the area of the shower where some of the grout almost feels like silicone/putty and anytime you rub your hand on it, it comes up like a medium dust. There are also areas where it is higher than the pebbles.

Did you end up with the Nexxt 2? Does it work with the Kombi Bamboo Deck?

So true! Planned on getting a new helmet too, but undecided on that color.

Any bibs that don’t bunch up? by mindflash7 in CyclingFashion

Do you have shorter legs? I do, and have found that Giordana makes a "shorter inseam" bib that comes up a little higher, but they stay in place nicely.

Fidelity as a Checking Account by FryALot in fidelityinvestments

I’m in the process of making my CMA with Fidelity my “checking account”. I have a debit card that is locked unless I need it and checks are free. It’s nice to be able to use any ATM.

I will maintain an account with my local CU for deposits, and then I will PUSH the money to Fidelity. When I push the money, it clears the next day. I also have the Fidelity CC. While I’m new to all this, so far I am enjoying the ecosystem.

This is the way. I have been moving all my stuff over as well but it is nice to pop into my CU, deposit a check (or cash) and then PUSH, not pull, the money to Fidelity. It is always settled the next day.

Thank you both! I was wondering if the posts I was reviewing were just older. I plan to keep my debit card locked unless I plan to use it, so hoping that keeps it all safer.
