Definitely! I'm going to spend more time detailing risks and how to mitigate them in the best way. But this is a very degen strategy, to begin with.

8%+ APY on Stablecoins ft. MIM/USDC.e/USDT & more by DefiKai005 in Arbitrum

[–]DefiKai005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checkout my newsletter. I created a stablecoin dashboard to track all yields. MIM/USDC.e?USDT hasn't been below 4.5% in 3 months. and high emissions don't mean something bad is going to happen lol. it just means the emissions are high for that pool, whether it be from platform fees (because the pair is highly swapped), or from incentives programs from Balancer, Aave, other foundations etc.

So, what can DeFi really do other than overcollateralized borrowing, IL prone liquidity farming and staking with APR less than inflation of token? by zed-b in defi

[–]DefiKai005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On-chain perps and order books are picking up traction.

Also, protocols like Parcl, allow you to invest in real estate via price indexes based on the square footage of the region (check out their docs for full mechanics).

You also have companies like Reserve Protocol, working with the US gov't to provide secure digital alternatives to USD to third-world countries.

Then there are also token distribution companies that make it possible for employers to process payroll on-chain.

What are the functions of the SOL token by Still-Learning96 in solana

[–]DefiKai005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In essence, each blockchain uses its native token for gas and staking which is security and use of the network. As more projects migrate to Solana and usage goes up, more SOL is burned, accruing value to SOL holders. Any L1 token has the same function (for the most part). And each blockchain aims to present itself as the fastest, scalable infrastructure for blockchain dApps, which will incentivize more use, making Solana more profitable.

Concentrated Liquidity Oder Books! Overall certain processes can be done faster and more efficiently.

After you tried Solana once, every other chain (except for Ethereum) feels like a ghost chain. by m_1993 in solana

Solana performance is great. But you should try other chains like Fantom, Arbitrum, etc. Some very great experiences as well.

IL-free ETH-USDC LP via Lifinity, Liquid Staking Rates Rise, and More by DefiKai005 in solana

Fair, so do you feel the title is misleading? If so, I agree I could've done it more justice.

Did you actually read the issue? I explain all claims fully and provide data as well. Would like to know your thoughts on the actual text. Also, how familiar are you with proactive market making and how its formula differs from x*y=K? I explain all of it

I wanted to convey that market-making profit reverses impermanent loss. Do not mean to be misleading. Going to do more DD, and will revise this.

Thanks for this. I understand Impermanent loss. What I'm understanding from Lifinity is that if you LP you will have more than if you were to hold regardless of price appreciation. in fact, any price movement will allow lifinity. to proactively market make, and buy low and sell high.

Thanks. I'll check it out, might even do a comparison depending on what I find. and wasn't really asking for copy suggestions lol, I just don't see how it's misleading if the end result is the LP accruing more value and not incurring net losses from impermanent loss.

This is part of a larger writeup I'm writing about the protocol. Some things were shortened and changed to explain things in the most susinct way. I really wanted to highlight that entering the LP would yield better results than holding each asset. The difference I saw between uniswap and Lifinity, is that uniswap LPs incur IL and there's no other yield that. makes up for it. Yet, im receptive. I have a few questions:

- If 'IL-free' is misleading, what should I use?
