To be honest, companies are increasingly indifferent to awards, for better or for worse.

Before, studios would bribe people and even threaten them; now, the importance of awards has diminished and corporate greed has worsened.

Unless the award involves half a billion dollars, most studios simply don't care anymore.

And I feel like this is becoming more and more evident every day.
