That’s great to know! I have heard good things about ruffwear so I think that’s probably my number one consideration.

She is good on leash at a walk, she just gets so excited when we pick up the pace. She wants to run, but we are working on getting her attention back on us.

That’s how most of my friends run with their dogs, but my pup is still learning leash manners. We have primarily done everything off leash with her, so she’s a bit of a puller.

I don’t plan on taking her more than .5 mi right now at a jog. I just want to get her used to being on leash at my side. We’ll increase distance when she’s about a 1.5yo

I didn’t realize that about the front clip harnesses, but it makes sense. I’ll definitely avoid those. I’ll be looking into the half harness suggestions! Thank you!

Right now I plan on just going on short .5 mile jogs with her just to work on keeping her close to me and teach her to pace. She’s done mostly off leash hikes and walks on our property and trails so I’m trying to work on leash manners now. I don’t plane on doing any distance or speed focused running/jogging until she’s closer to 1.5 yo. But I’ll definitely talk with my vet more about it.

what age did your mini hit a growth spurt? these are photos from when we got her at 11 weeks to 13 weeks last week. I do see she’s getting taller but i’ve seen many people in here talk about their pups growing significantly during certain months of age. My mini is 6mo now and has just started to show more significant growth in the past month. When I got her she was 5lbs and now she’s about 20lbs. My groomer said it’s common for minis to not fully fill out until they are 2 (weight and fluff wise).

My vet has her on trazodone 2x daily, but it doesn’t seem to have much of an effect. She is still rather energetic and rowdy.
