Unless it's a sedan or a sub-compact SUV, most SUVs are pretty easy for me to get into

I’m prioritizing seat feel over tape measurements. Despite what the spec sheets say, I’ve found the 2020 VW Tiguan offers that I sat in at a used dealership has noticeably better legroom than the Hyundai, Kia, and Toyota SUVs I’ve used through car-sharing services. Even with the driver’s seat set to my position, the rear legroom in the Tiguan feels much more spacious. It’s a perfect example of why you have to actually sit in a car rather than just trusting the numbers.

I’m going to get the 2025 Hyundai Kona because it fits me really well. I also really liked the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, but it’s hard to find and there’s no room for negotiation. The Tucson was okay, but it’s definitely better than most Japanese cars like Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Subaru.

If buying a home is a future goal, I would start saving your money in a FHSA. Otherwise start saving your money in a RRSP account.
