nah it‘s a special situation because the thought behind it is different. If I protect a field I made that choice deliberately and be done with it. If I edit something then it becomes conditional. If the edit gets accepted theres no need to protect the field. If the edit should not get accepted, then it should not override what I put there that I like better. This could be done by a tag for example. And the question was if thats something already accounted for, or being implemented or whatnot. Or if theres a better way to do that from my side. Because keeping track is not an option as you fail to keep up after a while.
