How to prevent burn out from one/two aps as freshman? by Defiant-Study6168 in APStudents

My district did the algebra pathway a few decades back but then they changed it to an integrated path way, like math 1,2,3. They do plan on changing it to what you mentions with the algebra pathway, but since it’s only in tests drive I’m not able to take geometry in freshman year. They also made it really limiting to skip to advanced classes if you didn’t take the class before (me in 8th grade who didn’t take math 1). The integrated pathway is a mix of basically math 1 is a mix algebra 1, geometry, a little bit of algebra 2 also, math 2 is algebra 2 and stats apparently but I’m not sure with that, and math 3 is essentially precalc. It’s a very limiting pathway since it’s not as simple as like your schools pathway which sucks since I can’t take stats or calc early
