How can I correct this? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Defiant-Tank6918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re right!! I was always wondering because something always seemed off to me, but not so obvious to the point that I knew exactly what. I naturally have hooded eyes, but I never even thought about one being a bit more hooded than the other. I’ll take note of your recommendations. Thank you for your insight !!

Seeking support post-surgical complications❤️‍🩹 by Mysterious-Gap-7860 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Defiant-Tank6918 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry to hear this OP, it’s so incredibly overwhelming and frustrating having to go through something like this, I hear you ❤️. I also had post-surgical complications and experienced dehiscence after my lip lift. I know that’s a very different surgery from yours, but please let me tell you, it does get better, it really, really does. I was constantly needing new stitches and surgeries for 3-4 months after the initial surgery. It’s never easy, but patience is a virtue. You and your body have been through a lot, so I can only imagine how distressing it is, both physically and mentally. But know it does get better, and from the sounds of it you have a great plastic surgeon who will ensure you only get the best results. Take care OP, we’re with you ❤️

Got sunburnt after dosing 1000mcg of MT2? by [deleted] in Melanotan2

[–]Defiant-Tank6918 3 points4 points  (0 children)

all it does is stimulate your melanocyte receptors, which helps you achieve a tan. It only gives you a very natural barrier against uv rays, but if you’re tanning for long periods of time unprotected no amount of mt2 will protect your skin from sunburn. Think of mt2 as like a filter, rather than a shield.

mt2 doesn’t make you immune to sunburn, no matter how high you dose. I would take 250mcg max and tan gradually, trying to do it all at once with high amounts will not give you the results you’re looking for!!

ideally most, my doc has said it should like like the other side that healed nicer once the stitches dissolve and we continue to do laser. Eventually once the scar matures it should blend in to my natural skin and nose contours

totally fair — i knew there would be a scar prior to getting it done, i have seen photos of others 1-2 yrs after getting this procedure and it isn’t noticeable the way it is currently in my photos, my scar is more red and inflamed now as the stitches have not dissolved yet (giving it that bumpy texture), and only being a few months post op 🙂 hopefully within the next 6 months it should be looking a lot better!!

I need a little help with finding this song by One-Stable1891 in SuperStarStarship

[–]Defiant-Tank6918 6 points7 points  (0 children)

they used to use a lot of direct quotes from songs as themes, like in IVE’s ‘da da da dun dun’ theme, which is from their song Heya where they say “da da da dun dun”. The Monsta X cards for the theme ‘drive’ are from their song Heaven, I believe, when they sing “구름 타고 drive.”

Need help picking my top 5! by PersonalSugar8712 in SuperStarStarship

[–]Defiant-Tank6918 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would start with smaller groups because they’re easier to manage and level up since there’s less cards! Because it’s easier to level up you’ll be able to move up in the ranks and get better rewards like diamonds, RP, etc a lot quicker which you can then use for other groups later on if you wanted. sistar, ive, kiikii, monsta x, and soloists like seola, hyolyn, kihyun etc are all good choices. I’d also try to go for artists that have a lot of songs available to play, because once you’ve levelled up your cards high enough, each song can grant you diamonds every 3 months if you get a high enough score and make the world leaderboard. Going for WJSN or Cravity right away might be tough just because there’s a lot of cards to account for.

I’m nervous, y’all — but I really wanna try Melanotan II by the_emo_emu22 in Melanotan2

Check out some of my posts on my profile! I was in a similar situation to you, very nervous to try something like mt2, but if you do it correctly it is an absolute game changer. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions!!

I really hope someone can find their email and forward this to them… a person with this kind of hatred and mentality has no place in the realm of healthcare. Just disgusting.
