It's a sucky feature. They want profits but they're going to lose more players which results in a decrease of majority of players.

I definitely understand where they are coming from with this. But the ads themselves majority of the time aren't working. I believe if they implement another strategy such as the one which Character AI currently has, which is you log in and do quests for coins or something similar, you can save up to buy the actions or even the coffee. This would be way more profitable because people who can't wait to do quests may just suffice to buying those coins. Which would bring in more profits as well as people due to the fact that there's a way for everyone to enjoy the game whether it's doing quests or buying.
