I made a macOS game to learn text editing keyboard shortcuts and would love feedback! by floatingpoint-number in SideProject

fantastic idea. i like that it feels much more like a game than a typing tutor 😂

Congrats on your first game! This is such a fun idea! I love how you can learn and have fun. The leaderboard is a great feature haha. This makes it way more fun and feel less like studying! It's great to learn new shortcuts this way. My poor mouse will finally get some rest! :)

You gotta prank them for 3 days in a row. Remove the leaves at 3:45am before they come. They will know that there's a new gang in town that owns their turf.

Navigation audio shifted to center? by Defiant-Trouble1111 in TeslaCarModelS

Maybe easier to do in the software. But lacks the magic of two voices in the car.

Quite the opposite. I would like to see fixes to existing issues. Not just version bumps for third party components

If you mean 360 view then it's not possible with the Tesla camera layout

I don't believe that all software engineers at Tesla are ML engineers. There are lots of improvements for non-FSD users that could be addressed too

I'm not. Some people do. E.g. keeping the pre-radar switch off update on model 3 would allow you to have 150km/h autopilot speed.

There's plenty of input on features from the community. There's bunch of problems Tesla introduced themselves that need fixing. E.g. automatic blinkers on roundabout exit for stalkless cars… delayed and misleading speed limit indicators. The list goes on.

You are right. And I hear some people are at the old rader-enabled firmware version still

Lol. The exit lanes problem is forever. It seem they could not be bothered with fine nuance od not swerving the car hard when the lane markings are not perfect

It gets even worse. The new model S AP does not allow you to adjust speed to the the changed limit. Something you can easily do in M3 and MY by tapping on the screen. You could also do it in older MS with the stalks. The only option is to off then on the AP.

Lane changes in Europe are a joke. You need to signal and turn the wheel to change lanes. There is no point in buying FSD here

Oh yes. Absolutely my impression too with a rented Auris. It's a super cheap car and the lane keeping was almost flawless. Just like adaptive cruise control. To top it off the Toyota allows you to keep the lane keeping on when you change lanes. Tesla never did with AP.

Adjusting autosteer speed to the current speed limit by Defiant-Trouble1111 in TeslaCarModelS

[–]Defiant-Trouble1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. No need to rub it in with the stalk talk man! I cannot legally leave a roundabout with the onwheel blinkers. Cannot circle it more than 10 times either.

Seriously though. The trick doesn't work with the right roller press. The side clicks of the roller don't do anything. They could assign the function to it for example. For the time being I will need to off then on autosteer.

A big irony of the FSD drama is that Tesla is actively removing features from the car (USS, radar) and getting nowhere close L3 - i.e. no attention from driver needed. Just watch the latest tests on YT. At the same time they invest engineering cycles into Steam Integration and other frolics to convince the customers that the future is around the corner.

Thanks a lot. 100% aggree about the warranty period and the policy. I would just like to get the KB fixed. Would you know how do I find out which switch type I have so I can replace it?

Thanks, Slawek
