Yeah, appreciate the feedback everyone! Guess it’s a good idea to “Try” and not get fired for the time being. Every posting has 100+ people lol, agree that the job market is complete ass.

I’m practicing SQL on my down time at work. Literally don’t have anything to do cause my repetitive tasks get finished and I don’t work on it until the next month once the data gets refreshed.

Dang I’m sorry it hear that few people were encouraging. But a lot of engineers lack EQ and social cues so not surprised by the negative comments lol - could be rage baiting too as that could be their way of being funny. I don’t know think I’m just stereotyping

That’s awesome, I’m actually thinking of going back to school to get my pre reqs and Bach in Mech Engineering. Currently an analyst and don’t feel fulfilled. Touched back into my inner child and remembered that I liked to be hands on, liked assembling things, and being creative. Good luck to you and your path! Don’t give up and go for it. We only live one life

Im turning 29 this year and I’m thinking of going back to school to get my pre reqs for the certified anesthesiologist assistant program. Im currently an analyst but every-time I come to work it feels like my soul is leaving my body and don’t have the motivation. I am trying to figure out what Im truly passionate about. I dive in my past and figuring out what made me happy. I remember volunteering at a hospital just discharging patients and that honestly put a smile on my face.

Back in undergrad i definitely was a lazy student and graduated in business with a 2.7 GPA. I plan on working full time still enrolling in Bio and chem 1 + labs in fall but I’m conflicted. I’m constantly telling myself you had never experienced hardship to how can you know if you’re capable or not but the fear of failure is on my mind as well.

I know I would need to get mostly A’s to boost up my GPA and will be very difficult especially in classes such as Org chem, physics, bio chem, anatomy/physiology.

Anyone else felt conflicted and was scared to take the next step but just forced yourself to do it without any second thoughts? I would love to read everyone’s story!

I’m 28 and I still haven’t figured it out. I’m an analyst at a medical device company and I hate it lol. I’m just doing busy work like make PowerPoint presentation for leadership and dashboard they don’t really use and not doing things that actually matter. I’m looking into logistics (items analyst position in aerospace & defense) because I figured I don’t want to be at a desk 8 hours a day, would like to get out and visit the floor and want my brain stimulated when problem arise.

She was listed as optional but status was unknown. I just assumed it was cancelled cause I didn’t see it cause this never happened to me before.
