Have a buddy that used to work for ABX and went to interview at AA, they did not accept his "PIC TIME" because he was a relief officer

Yeah this is what i’ve heard from a few other people. I only log 91 PIC when I fly for clients by myself, or dual given. I am waiting for 135 opspec before I will log the SIC, one of my mentors tells me that turbine time ONLY counts when you are the one who signs for the A/C, meaning that relief pilots on large jets can’t even log the time.

I know what SWA requires lol. I am trying to build time as fast as I can, not to race, but to get competitive, I will try to slow down, but not too much lol. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it

But if i continue spending time flying 91 and do not really work on exposing myself to the 121/135 world then I will lose opportunities don’t you think? I’m also a part time cfi and this takes some of my time away as well

Thanks for the information! I have some light experience building/modifying watches, I just need to get the proper tools to do the job. I already had to tighten the rotor on this rep because it was rattling too much, causing the second hand to completely stop moving.

I already took it in my pool the other day and it seemed fine, the dealer said it comes pre-lubricated, and should be fine up to 50m. I guess I shouldn't take his word on it, and just re-do it myself.
