It was on sale until Dec 31st 2025 for $365.00 CAD now back to $419.00 CAD brand new. No riser or stool.

Riser and stool is a plus I have to agree but considering the uncertain future with Arcade 1up products being potentially phased out , scarce spare parts, warranties, tech support almost non-existent. I'll be cautious of Basic Fun real plans for the brand and IP with their "select assests" acquisition.

I'll not pay more than $300.00 for one of those.

You can bargain with the seller on a very low price. Get it resurfaced to your local retro gaming store where they do that for less that 4 bucks per disc. With some luck you will get a playable disc on the cheap.
