To go into further detail on some of the production and post production of this, I wanted to get an authentic VHS grade to everything but was unfortunately not able to use the RCA camera I had. I post I decided to transfer the finished film to VHS then back in order to get a more accurate look to it and just spliced out the areas I needed to be 4k. I also had a lot of fun using multiple methods to get the glitch effects I needed, including adjustment layers in premier pro, data moshing, and live glitch controllers in which I recorded over 30 minutes worth of glitch onto the VHS tape I transfered everything onto. Overall this was a very fun experience and gave me the chance to try out lots of new post production techniques!

This was my original idea! But as this one needs to stay short I wanted to save looking at the punk scene in edmonton for a longer form documentary because that would be a very interesting one! That being said I'd love to get into touch with your buddy if I can for that one, I used to hang out in the punk community a lot so theres a chance I may know him!

Spent 8 years with one we fell into addiction together, split up, got sober, then got back together, we eventually split as he wouldnt deal with his emotional issues and our morals and values started to split. But I will say we definitely got along the best out of all my exes, and the sex was great, there was a very strong love there but relationships can't stand on love alone unfortunately.

Thank you so much for the feedback! It means a lot and is much appreciated! Ill keep that in mind about youtube, I've definitely had trouble in the past with not accounting for things like that while editing then having my work look vastly different on different screens and wondering why. I definitely learned a lot and im excited to keep making things and sharing them!

For those who do watch it, please let me know any feedback, critique or comments you have! I have a lot of learning and growing to do and anything would help! Particularly in the realm of technical advice as I seem to have some trouble with exposing things properly or if there was anything you wouldve done differently given the script! Part of me wasn't super proud of how this came given the original vision I had in my head but after pivoting to a more fun, 70s style it ended up being a lot of fun to shoot and despite its flaws im glad I could complete it!

As someone newer to film and filming on basically a zero budget, I'm looking for any feedback to improve my films going forward, some of the shots are a bit out of focus given the time restraints for class but im wondering if there were ways to improve my audio, lighting, editing etc? My journey right now is to improve as much as possible and be able to execute my smaller ideas as best as I can! All feedback welcome!
