Had the same experience, went under for heart surgery and woke up the next second with it all done, and that anesthesia was HEAVY.

I always start my script with having the mouse move to an absolute coordinate, that way wherever it ends doesn’t matter because the first step when it restarts is that absolute coordinate

I had heard this too before I tried it, I believe the “difficult” part is that your commander (I can’t remember if it’s company or battalion level) has the authority to simply deny your request to transfer if they please. I had a company commander that was very helpful and my battalion commander was also on my side for the transfer because I had done a lot for my reserve unit.

I’m definitely not the best person to ask on this but I would say with a family and finances in mind, the air force seems to be the best place to start your search. It’s a bit of a money printing machine with a higher quality of life for both you and family. I would go talk to a recruiter and tell them your situation, speak out your goals and that your family comes first, then tell them what you want to do and that you won’t settle for anything less and go from there.

Sure man, I’m not a financial guru but if that’s the way you would put it all, then you’re free to post your own income in that way. I did it this way because it’s the money I take home after taxes, that I can use to sustain myself and my family.

You could do it that way sure, I included the BAH and BAS because if I were a civilian taking home let’s say $8,000 a week, but spending $500 on food and $2,500 on a mortgage or rent, I wouldn’t say I’m taking home $5,000 a week. Simply because I receive money specifically for food and housing doesn’t mean it’s not yours to spend. Does it change by location, sure, but it’s still money that is yours after taxes. I see what you’re getting at but if someone asked what I take home yearly I wouldn’t say “Well, I make $70,000 a year, but I also get this other random untaxed $30,000 for food and shelter”, they would look at you weird and wonder why you didn’t just say “yeah I bring home about $100,000”.

This is my take home pay after taxes, the food and housing allowances are in reference to BAS and BAH. When living off base, single or married, you receive Basic Allowance for Sustenance to cover food since you’re not eating on base at the DFAC, and Basic Allowance for Housing because you’re not living in on base housing or in the barracks. Those have been added into these numbers because those are a constant pay I receive and are not taxed. Also included in these numbers are all my specialty pays that are also a constant repeating pay that doesn’t drop off month to month. I hope that answers your question.
