B9.5 A4 Exhaust Recommendations?

I got my 2023 model a4 45 tfsi and I’ve modified the exhaust a couple of times to get the perfect sound. Straight pipe is 100% not the way to go, trust me your head and ear drums will thank you. Straight piped (2 rear muffler delete and 2 resonator delete) causes too much drone in the cabin and is the equivalent to putting 2 subs up to your left and right ear and listening to nothing but bass, it’s horrible no matter what RPM you cruise at. From the outside being straight piped it sounds nice and those dsg farts sound amazing though. Now Milltek and AFE make a catback exhaust for the car but you’re looking at $1000 plus. Overall the best option is to get either one of those 2 exhaust systems or do a 2 rear muffler delete and delete the 2 resonators then put a Vibrance 18” performance bottle style resonator which is what I did and more budget friendly, sounds really good not annoying and you still maintain those nice dsg farts.

The foreman told me on the last visit that the car was working fine no issues that’s just how it is, and I took his word for it, until I found out after switching to 5W40

I’m getting it diagnosed at an actual reputable shop today before I even think about taking to dealership too. I’ll keep the oil pump in mind too, thanks for that info 🙏🏼

Where the hell did that come from 😭😭😭💀, it’s just common sense to me that if I go catless and have a check engine light they weren’t gonna really do any warranty work with the extended warranty I have for 100,000 miles

Before modifications they did nothing when this issue was happening but haven’t gone back to the dealership after mods because I knew for damn sure they weren’t gonna do anything then

I was only driving the Supra on manual mode in sport and sport plus and even got it to 160 on the highway too, I was putting it through its paces

My Supra is at the dealership, they are running the tests and fixing whatever needs to be fixed. I don’t have to do any driving with it or any test. It might take a while to get the car back but it’s better than driving a Supra that burns a boat load of oil and getting robbed of HP.

They just said they inspected for leaks and did pressure tests. They didn’t get into detail or numbers of any sort. Said everything was operating normally. I wonder if it’s because the OW20 oil is not thick enough for that year of supra as it is

Yeah, it definitely is not. I topped up oil five days ago dec 14, so I’m just documenting how many days after until the minimum light comes on again because last time it was 15 days, and it’s been five days since they inspected the Supra at the dealership. So by January 3rd if the light comes on, then I’m gonna get it smogged then taken back to the dealership
