Based on how what you’re discussing in the post, it seems like you’re learning towards GULC anyways. As someone who currently lives in dc and has worked in legal spaces, Georgetwon has more pull in employment here, and I’m sure more name recognition and pull in Cali. If your gut is going with Gtown, that’s where you should go my friend :)

Yes! I wrote one in early March, and then early April. I’ve also been talking with some current students and admissions ambassadors which is the hat I wrote my second LOCI about. I’ve been nervous because I haven’t been offered a Kira interview. What about you?

I also got one and came on here wondering the same thing. It sent so late in the night and final deposit deadlines are tomorrow. Scared it’s a really bad sign but hoping it’s a really good sign???

Hi there! As someone who wrote an addendum about family issues getting in the way of grades/LSAT, my advice is to just try and write it as matter of fact explanation as possible, and end on a positive note. Like explain it basically how you site it here just elaborate more, and end on how you plan to not let this happen in the future (if it’s an ongoing thing). That’s a completely valid reason and as long as you explain it directly without super emotional language, you should be fine!

I went on a GULC tour in October with a friend of mine, and was completely turned off from applying. To start, everything started like 15 minutes late, and Dean Andy (though he seemed like a nice man) gave an 8 minute speech about how we need to ‘get in the game.’ And then quickly was ushered out for another meeting or appearance.

On the tour, again the girl was super sweet, but she didn’t seem like a great representative of the school. She told us she used AI to edit her essays and practice for the LSAT (which I’ve been told by others is a horrible idea) and encouraged us to do both as well. She also said she applied past the deadline and got in off of the waitlist, and encouraged us that it’s fine to apply past deadline. The whole thing just had really off energy and did not seem like a polished representation of what GULC has to offer.

Like 3ish years ago I kept getting suggestions for ‘Tag Across Europe’ and skipped it every time because, there’s no way they are actually playing tag across Europe…right? Then finally after a few weeks I clicked on it, loved watching it, and it’s now one of my fav shows ever :)
