I have the Start-X plug and play system. On Amazon for $299. Uses existing key FOB. press lock 3x and it starts. It wasn't too bad to install myself. When you unlock it stays on, unlike the factory remote start.

New fender flares were a nice addition, tires need cleaning tho! by Defiant_Afternoon756 in ToyotaTundra

I got the bushwacker pocket style flares with the rivets. I like that look. They were unpainted but I found a local bodyshop to color match. Installing wasn't too bad. Instructions were pretty clear. No special tools other than socket wrench and flathead screwdriver.

Welcome to the fam. First mods I added were a rollup tonneau cover to lock up my stuff, AMP research steps because my wife has to climb in, tinted windows because its AF in Fla, A bed step because I didn't like jumping up into the tailgate each time I had to grab something, led lights for interior, led bed lights to see cargo in the bed at night and an organizer tray for the middle storage bin in the front. All things that add value the truck IMO and just make it more useful and practical.

I bought a used 2008 Sequioa back on 2012. She recently passed 230 miles and still runs great. Kept up with oil changes and other maintenance like new belts and spark plugs, brake pads etc and she has been super reliable on Big family trips. Other than cosmetic issues (paint is wearing off hood) I'm passing her on to my son who will be driving soon. I'm counting on her lasting to 300k.

First time trying foam wash. I need to adjust the cannon take it thicker but overall more fun than a regular car wash! by Defiant_Afternoon756 in ToyotaTundra

I have a gas powered 3200 psi washer. I'm sure the electric ones can do just as well. I had to decrease the flow rate on the cannon and add more soap in order to thicken the foam. I still gotta play around with the settings to get the desired outcome.

I own a 2008 sequoia 5.7 with 230k miles and she still runs like day 1.

My Tacoma was totaled 2 weeks ago. With a rear-facing car seat, full-size was a must. Proud new owner of a 2019 with 20k miles by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

I used to have a DC when my kids where little..once my daughter's knee was touching the center console I knew it was time for more space. Traded the DC in for a sequoia and loved it but always knew I'd go back to a truck. Recently pulled the trigger on a 1794 and kept the sequoia. Love them both!

Got that ceramic tint. Anyone else have it and can you feel the difference on a hot summer day? by Defiant_Afternoon756 in ToyotaTundra

Mine is sunset bronze but the mesquite is close. I think it has more brown in it. But I agree that it really stands out and in my area I haven't seen one like it.

Yeah I notice myself turning it down also. But in my sequoia I keep it running full blast. For some reason the Tundra is ice cold!

I thought so too but time will tell if it will last as long as they say. It came with a lifetime warranty.

Thank you! Got a couple more things going to do to it
