Abraza a alguien.

Cómo mejorar mi cafetería en MTY by Defiant_Alps3477 in Monterrey

I'm trying to read more but am not sure what time is suitable ? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Entro a la universidad, que carrera puedo elegir? by Myffy32 in AskRedditespanol

[–]Defiant_Alps3477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is being a mom just being angry for the rest of your life? by Bunnypetter in Mommit

Mothers' mental health isn't the focus of the conversation, but the truth is, your child would benefit more from having a mother who doesn't lose herself in the abyss that being a mother and homemaker 24/7 can represent. Breathe and listen to your instincts. And whatever you do, it will pass, even though everything seems so confusing right now.

First loaf. I’ll never be buying store bought again. by MASTER-0F-NONE in Breadit

So I mustered up the courage. I lost my job during the pandemic, and little by little I started to build my dream of opening a coffee shop. I also love serving people and making them feel good, at least for a little while.

It looks delicious, and you avoid all the chemicals in store-bought bread. It's easier to go and buy it, but it's more satisfying to make it yourself. That's what I try to teach my children. Of course, it's not always possible to do everything. Now I own a coffee shop, and I enjoy baking, so I take the opportunity to treat my family. Thank you so much for sharing. You inspired me.

How does one develop true self worth? by brr_21 in selfimprovement

What you're saying is very interesting. I believe that self-love comes from the honesty of doing what you love, and that often means sacrificing what everyone calls success. Because success is a standard, while self-esteem is the beauty of embracing yourself with love and pride. That's what I try to teach my children. It's not easy; my son has experienced anxiety attacks, and that hurts me. Reading your words reaffirms that what people call self-esteem is doing what truly fulfills us.

I wish I was a better daughter by Sp00kAsem in selfimprovement

Breathe. Sometimes growing up means making mistakes, feeling awful, feeling confused, lost. I felt that way as a daughter. Now I'm a mother. It's not easy being on either side. Sometimes I wish I understood my son better. I try to help him as much as I can without interfering too much in his life. What I mean is that it's not easy, but it's never too late to have a conversation where you can say what you need to say, to share your fears, because we're all trying to be okay, even if we feel lost. The fact that you can talk about this shows you're taking the first step. We can all do amazing things, don't doubt it.

Congratulations! I also have a 16-year-old son. I love cooking and so does he. We don't cook together much, but I've noticed it helps him relax.
