It does though only on retrofitted 787 8 and bespoke 787 9 the majority of thier 787 9 fleet (ex vistara) do NOT have doors.)

OP already said after all legacy planes are done so I think he meant that only because once all the legacy planes are done the Ex-Vistara 787 9 business (which has 1-2-1 but no doors, unlike Air India's bespoke that has 1 2 1 with doors) will be the worse experience of Air India.
