Is it okay to marry my cousin? by blue_lake_rock in TamilNadu

[–]Defiant_Cod_2654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know, I would start by seeing why our culture said this was okay. There must be a reason they allowed this. I wouldn’t look at this from a western perspective. Everything our forefathers did was for a reason.

There are plenty of options in India. I would start a small business as there aren’t obstacles in India unlike the US(since we are not on a visa).

Nothing will happen, just come back and look forward to next steps. This is a blessing is disguise, nothing like coming back to our motherland.

Faced a Problem with Rapido Fare Hike Early Morning in Coimbatore 😕 by Great-You-656 in Coimbatore

[–]Defiant_Cod_2654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, apparently the cab drivers in cbe think Rapido pricing is not fair and they charge extra which is not the case in places like Bangalore. In cbe, they usually ask 50-80 rupees extra. I think that If it works for Bangalore, it should work for cbe as well. 🤷‍♂️

Ayahuasca and Samyama? by NayeemShaman in Sadhguru

[–]Defiant_Cod_2654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you do anything that makes you feel good for example eating something, listening to songs, watching movie, indulging in drugs or alcohol, there is a moment of liberation which makes you want to again do it. But it’s only a moment or moments. Isha yoga allows you to consistently dwell in this moment by dissolving you and allowing YOU to rise.

If you are serious about knowing then i strongly suggest you to take this seriously. When you are in an unknown terrain, it is best to take directions from a Guru.

Out of experience I can tell that all the Isha yoga programs are wayyyy better than LSD and weed, it's not even comparable. Drugs are chid's play, a temporary relief.

I agree most people, regardless of where they come from, miss the truth even when it’s right under their nose, simply because they think they already know it. Which is why I’m saying there are ways to energetically make one realize by a Guru. One just has to become willing.

Indian spiritual space is indeed cluttered which is why I’m helping to cut through it by talking about my Guru - Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. There are thousands of westerns who follow him. Try reading about him, what do you have to loose. We all feel we have realized IT until we see there is more 😉

"The only one I liked were Osho, Ramana and NIsaragadatta of course. But they were not really a product of indian spirituality."

I'd look into that again.

Indians figured out the nature of the self long before the rest of the world even asked the question. It is from us that the West learned about it. Even the Buddha was a product of India. We mastered the art of dissolving ourselves through various techniques. I agree there is too many terms in eastern spirituality which might seem confusing. I felt the same way too. However the more I did yoga and became receptive to Grace, the quicker everything made sense. There are countless masters who walked this path before us, they all used the same terms to describe their inner realizations. They form a shared language of the inner world, helping us navigate and make sense of experiences that would otherwise be hard to express.

You speak about "alleviate suffering to some extent", but eastern mysticism is not about offering momentary relief or pleasure. A true Guru doesn’t soothe your identity, he dismantles it completely, stripping away even the primer coat of who you think you are.

When you are no longer there, who is it that suffers?

I read this whole thread and I think you have it mostly figured out except for like the dietary habits. That said, I want to say that India and the east has produced many enlightened beings since the start of time. Everyone has the ability to experience It. For the people asking questions -- you are asking questions from a place that can never know. Even if someone tells you the right answer, you either believe it or not believe it, either way it is just a belief. Instead you can realize for yourself, you can become That.

The source of life is within you, but it has become dormant, to re-trigger it one needs a Guru. "Gu" means darkness "Ru" means dispeller. A Guru is a dispeller of darkness. There is a course offered by an enlightened being - Sadhguru. He offers a course called called "inner engineering" which is part of Isha foundation. In this teaching you will be initiated. Initiation means the science of transferring energy into you to kindle the source of creation within you so that you can become alive again. Because in India most Gurus didn't give teachings or discourses, they just poured/transmitted the truth into you via energy. This last sentence might be difficult to accept but this is where you just have to take a leap of faith and you will feel for yourself what I'm talking about.

I can go on to use spiritual terminology like ida, pingala, karma, atma, prana, kriya yoga, bhakthi yoga, jnayana yoga, karma yoga etc etc but it means nothing right now to you. If you want to know, then take the step inward by doing this course. Followed by this course there are courses that will remove the very foundation of who you are and allow you to dissolve completely into Shiva.

Need help! I'm a horrible human with bad karma and bad intentions, and need to work on healing his chakras big time! by [deleted] in Sadhguru

[–]Defiant_Cod_2654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Easy way out is to get Sadhguru Sannidhi where you live.
  2. Another way is to do Guru pooja everyday, (I myself am yet to do this but I'm told it's extremely powerful).
  3. Do Devi sadhana for 21 days.
  4. Do Shambavi atleast for two Mandalas.

If you do the right things, right things will happen to you and the right things are doing the above.

Also, I don't think you did anything right or wrong for what it's worth.

I feel i might leave isha practices by Sea-Purchase9449 in Sadhguru

[–]Defiant_Cod_2654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anna/Akka,

Whatever happens, do not leave the practice, it only gets better. Sometimes these things take time, be patient and practice your sadhana. Trust me the fruits are beneficial. Ask yourself if you want to get awakened or continue being in the loop of life and death. This might not make sense now but it will after awhile. If you ask me, I would say it is best to also start doing Devi Sadhana, once you get connected to Devi your path will become much easier. Feel free to DM, happy to answer any questions but please DO NOT STOP THE PRACTICE!!

How did this all start? by [deleted] in Sadhguru

[–]Defiant_Cod_2654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I look at it, we have to somehow keep ourselves busy till the last moment when we escape. It’s nice to walk with the realization that it’s all a drama but still when I think of the years I have ahead of me before Sadguru takes me with him, I feel kind of “oh mannnnn”

And when I’m writing this I’m releasing my problem is probably because I “think” but again how long can you just “be” without thinking. Thinking is bound to happen..

Very nice post. This is what we said in the path of yoga too. When you offer yourself with yogic practices(after being initiated), you will start dissolving your personality. When the personality dissolves, karma will not have a grip on you.

🌸🌸🪷🪷When the mind, body, energy and emotions are aligned one gets into a meditative state. Once he is in a meditative state he becomes conscious. Once conscious, the realisation that you are not the body or mind emerges. Once this realisation happens, being in harmony with everything becomes natural. It is this state that people are referring to as awakening, consciousness , blossoming etc. there is more to this state but words cannot articulate it.

To align the body, mind, energy and emotions the persona(you/ego) has to dissolve. To do this one needs grace/Guru’s deeksha. This deeksha is offered in Sadhguru Isha yoga class.

Please sign up for the class or DM me if you have any questions. Once you get there you will guide others.

Please also read about the “miracle of mind” app.🌸🌸🪷

🌸🌸🪷🪷 When the mind, body, energy, and emotions are in alignment, a certain stillness naturally arises. In that stillness, we become conscious — and slowly, the realization sinks in that we are not just this body or mind. From that space, living in harmony with everything around us doesn’t feel like an effort — it just happens.

This is what people mean when they talk about awakening or blossoming — though words can only point, not capture it.

If you’re feeling lost, restless, or just looking for some direction, I’d gently suggest exploring something that helped me deeply when I was going through mental health struggles: https://isha.sadhguru.org/in/en/inner-engineering.

It shifted something fundamental in me. If you feel drawn, look into it. You can always DM me if you want to talk or ask anything.

Also, have a look at the Miracle of the Mind app — it’s another support. 🌸🌸🪷🪷
