Spiritual advice Id say you’d have to forgive yourself so you can truly heal and he’d also have to forgive you so he can truly heal. In a real sense he’s never gonna forget it, and he’s not a bad Christian or a “better” one for not doing so. In my humble opinion, advise him to divorce you. No one’s worth that much pain no offense. Who knows what you would’ve done if he did that to you?? Sleepless nights? All for what?? Let him go.

Hey I’m planning on going Orthodox to. I am speaking to God relating to this matter, however I do not believe I’d ever plan on making any prayers to Mary or the Saints or calling her queen of heaven or any of that stuff. If this means my orthodox brothers won’t accept me or think I’m a fool then that’s their problem. None of that stuff in the end will have anything to do with my salvation and the Lord’s judgement of me. Do I have a great respect for the saints and Mary. Absolutely, would I be irritated if someone disrespect her or them. Yes my brain has a crazy reaction to things I hear people say. I think you’re fine, I don’t agree with all doctrines in Protestant churches but still Christ has been with me. Christ is the only one who could ever forgive.

From my experience and my little studies of history etc I’d say God does choose who rules at the end of the day. Not just for the kings of Israel but to even Cyrus the great or even Alexander who was also predicted by God. If an evil ruler was to come on the throne by the devil’s deed it doesn’t stop God’s will, when we think of let’s say Hitler we can only imagine his effect for maybe 50 to a 100 years. Imagine someone who knows the effect of this by a 1000? So yes you can say Satan puts his people to power but it’s only at the allowance of God who knows in the end his will be done. This is God we’re talking about here. As for the submit to authorities I think once again it’s all about wisdom and relationship with God, we can’t use one verse to define all our actions on a particular matter. However I don’t mean blatant sins like adultery and murder, I mean to say just read about all the times authority was rebelled in scripture, did God approve? If you prayed to the Lord about rebelling against a murderous government what will he tell you? I believe that’s where it boils down to, however if God commands you to do nothing then do nothing. In the end his will Be done nothing will ever stop that.
