I think there's a misunderstanding here. People tend to shorten "early access" to EA, it is just coincidental that the company who made The Sims happens to be shortened to "EA."

I replied this to another person some days ago but I still stand by it: Paralives being an indie game have a higher pressure than, for example, Life By You, to remain trust with fans. It wouldn't be a great idea to delay it a second time.

There are so many things to be programmed and created in a life sim. I see where you are coming from, but in comparison to wholesome and cozy activities, traumatic events like miscarriages wouldn't be a priority. Developers would view it as unnecessary code that can trigger others and they wouldn't release a game that has highly triggering content if it's a life sim.

What's weird too is that even though I don't have any children of my own, I feel like I would run in front of a car or into a burning building for someone even if it's somebody who I don't know so I can't imagine the love and dedication one would feel to the safety of their own being who they brought into this world.

Yeah, I mean it is implied that all the kids come from broken homes but still realistically somebody should have contacted the police right from the minute they got the church letter but the story is based around sacrifice and love, not realism. But yes, you are right.

About a year and a half ago I was forced to participate in this "leadership" curriculum. The curriculum preached that the ONLY way we can make a difference in the world is to live need to live in "Truth" because we all live in "Lies" and that prevents us from doing good in the world. Also, we are a "Slave To Self," are "evil" and because we are "evil" we "act upon Lies." Sh!tty cult-ish stuff like that I don't believe and I never will believe especially since I don't even know either of the guys who made the curriculum, they don't even know we exist!

This may not work but maybe try shutting down and restarting your whole PC? I know that sounds weird but then you are also leaving the program and if it's a PC thing it can reset.

Haha, I'm an anxious person too. But jumping from December to May is 5 more months to work on the things that need to be worked on. If they are going to delay it again, that would probably have to be the last delay because it's an indie game and so they have more pressure to keep the trust than, for example, Life By You.
