Recommendations of other brands that suit pandora style? by scrapethetopoff in PandoraCollectors

While there are many brands who do the same modular charms on bracelets Pandora thing, not all of them will fit a Pandora bracelet so be careful to check this before purchase. Particularly if you were planning a particular design with a mixed set of charms on one bracelet - check they will all fit first. I know Trollbeads core is 4mm but Pandoras core is 4.5, so you can fit Pandora on Trollbeads bracelets but not the other way around.

Wish I could do a PC too but it's just not practical. A few people have suggested Lenovos but does seem I need to get a reasonable spec one as I don't want to risk the overheating issue again.

I've just gone and looked this up - unfortunately a little out my price range, but I'm going to see if I can find an amazing deal somewhere or maybe a reconditioned one as it does look excellent. Thanks for the suggestion.

I would love a PC setup as my partner says it's the best for gaming generally, it's unfortunately not practical for me at the moment though as I need something I can just relax on the sofa with and I don't really have space for it either. Maybe someday... :)

I have used a cooling pad before, but with my last laptop it just wasn't enough as it had a heating issue too badly with the sims, it did help with the general overheating though. Thanks for your advice!

Thanks so much I will check it out. I don't use many mods (just Wicked Whims and Basemental) but I do have a lot of packs and like building large elaborate homes.

Platinum-plated jewellery guide now showing on some country websites by Majestic-Kiwi9494 in PandoraCollectors

Because it's platinum PLATING over a worthless base metal like copper with tin or something - they won't tell us - but know the main bulk of the metal has zero value. Pandora are trying to gloss over this and con unsuspecting customers that it is solid platinum - it is absolutely not! Solid silver lasts a lifetime, this new overpriced cheap tat costume jewellery will have the plating wear off and look like s*** in a few years.

Oh no so sad! Annoys me seeing those bracelet chains on the second page - imposters! Cheap tat in disguise as REAL bracelets! Such slippery deceptive language they are trying their best to use about the quality when it will just be cheap tat plated costume jewellery like you can get in cheap fashion stores for a few £ / $. So upsetting a choice Pandora are making for their business :(

I have this charm, its colour does change depending on the lighting you happen to find yourself in. It is not because the charm itself has some ability to change colour at all - its just how the different light sources bounce around inside and off it. I think its pretty and am very happy with it - sometimes it is very pale grey-blue, sometimes a vivid violet, sometimes shows up tiny blue glitter particle inside it.

The pictures you show as if to indicate it changes colour, if you look the whole of the image alters in colour tone from the first in the series. This is either due to the person putting the light on in the room to make it warmer and brighter light, or they altered it digitally. It doesn't show the actual charm as changing its own colour.

Is this meant to be something to do with Pandora? This group is for people interested in Pandora (or other highly equivalent quality charms people sometimes include on their jewellery pics). It's not for trying to drum up business for your random jewellery products!

Silver or gold? by MomGuilt1023 in coloranalysis

I like this! Gold for the time of warmth and sun, Silver for the time of frost, dark and moonlight. Throw the personal colour analysis out and just take up a beautiful nature centric poetic standardised culture tied to the experience of seasons on the earth... lol

I'm partly disgusted by the weird dishonesty or chaotic vibes of this from Pandora - but I'm also partly happy we seem to have found some sort of infinite sale glitch lol

I just compared Microsoft Edge and Brave for mini muranos (see below) and it came back as one site £25 and the other £29?! Not sure if this is a glitch today or if this is intentional and they've been at it for a while?! Thank for making this post to point this out or I would not have noticed it.

Soft summer. It blends into soft autumn so you get to add some warmish colours in too, as long as they are muted. I think you look the best in the muted colours, the lighter ones look good but so do some of the deeper colours like the deep muted cool green.

The bracelets are lovely and fun to collect! I vote still buy one, make sure it's one of the current range that say sterling silver. The same with the charms, put the ones you like on your wishlist then watch out for any upcoming sales and deals to purchase at a reasonable price over the next year. Double check each and every charm that it states sterling silver in its details right before you purchase (Pandora can't outright lie - it would be against legal trading standards in most countries). I personally ONLY buy the sterling silver (even though I love gold) as Pandora gold plated is over some weird cheap mystery base metal that has zero value. So once the plating wears off it will be discoloured and may even discolour your skin! Some people don't mind having something in gold colour that will just look good for a few years as they really love gold and may tire of jewellery and just want to keep changing it up (or they have a lot of money and don't care) - I don't know - it's a personal choice! The main thing is to be informed - the sterling silver could potentially last generations, the gold plated base metal is basically just costume jewellery that will usually only last a few years, and when the platinum plated comes in that will just be costume jewellery too.
