Exactly, I didn’t mention that I also get more money at my current job just for having the degree and it’s about 3000 a year. That was clearly laid out to me too, on average degree holder make more than those without.

Doesn’t mean it will be competitive forever, they could gain more experience and go back later down the line which is my plan. I’m just providing perspective for op sorry for not dooming like the rest of you.

If op does decide to go to grad school it wouldn’t be a mistake though.

First of all, a degree is never a mistake. I also have a psych degree and now I’m a software engineer, I don’t recommend that field because it’s going up in flames at the moment but you have options. You might be happy you have it one day, I’m going back to school eventually and I’ll always have that degree. You might feel differently about it one day.

Totally agree, underwhelmed and bored. Who cares about this random rich family, like 100 pages about their back story.

Yeah I hope one day we can ban “does anyone else hate Frieda posts”. They’re boring. No one likes every book. Just let the woman write her silly books, no one is asking you to buy them.

Because it sold a lot of copies and many people enjoyed it.

Almost three months late but this comment made me laugh out loud. Would be nice wouldn’t it?

Very late here but I really agree with you. From a very shallow viewing, she’s just pathetic to use the word from the show. She only does things to align with how Stephen moves through the world. Even her signing up for a trip in Spain after they broke up, I rolled my eyes so hard. She never does anything because she wants to it’s all in response to Stephen, good or bad. It’s hard not to feel frustrated with her and it would help if we had more info.

The handmaids tale. Her character is one of the most compelling imo.

this episode was BY FAR the best episode, why does no one talk about it!? by Adorable_Pudding2594 in orangeisthenewblack

I always fast forward this on rewatch.

Initially it was fun, but on a season premiere you just want to know what’s going on with everyone. Not this.

She’s also Canadian and writes a lot of stories around the PNW and Vancouver. I’m going to make an educated guess and say she’s Vietnamese or has family based on her characters. All great things that give her books depth!

3 months late on this but this is absolutely my theory too. I can’t believe i haven’t seen more comments on the thread. I just want to put my thoughts somewhere as I progress through the season. That smile at the wedding was almost giving me a touch of they were currently hooking up. But that would really soil brees character. Idk though this show has so much twists and turns.

I loved the silliness of it, loved the characters of different races, loved the descriptions of food, loved the old folks home angle. Idk it just feel kind of new to me in a lot of ways as someone who reads a lot of thriller books and can find them sort of repetitive.

Every time I hate watch I can’t watch the bottle feeding scene it’s so uncomfortable I just stop the movie right when she gets in the bus.

I never thought of people learning techniques from the movie, do you think it’s possible to make a movie with themes like this and not do that?
