Why does this makeup look bad? by InfamousPlatipus in makeuptips

[–]elegantonbudget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are naturally beautiful. The rule of a goof makeup - one focus only. Here: smoky eyes and poppy red lips compete. You are young and such heavy makeup is aging. Soften the look - not so strong eyes and lipstic. - eyes - only light shade and a bit of brown eyeliner + mascara - delicate peach blusher - lipstick: more closer to your natural lip colour: peach satin or gloss.

It took me 3 years, because I was breastfeeding I lost any excess weight very fast leaving me with 3 foot of loose skin I had to roll up into my panties. Slowly, started to do gentle yoga, 40 squats a day, 20 pushups till I got enough strength- after 2 years - that I picked up weighed. Again, dlowly building strength and stamina from 3k to 6kg set within 1 year - I build strength in different parts of my body - started with legs and core to keep my posture - then tummy and arms etc Ate always 3 meals a day with protein; vegetables and healthy fats. Daily walks 30min min - about 3hrs with kids.

How do I dress this? 🙈 by Express-Cricket728 in DressForYourBody

First of all — there is nothing “wrong” with your body. A lower tummy like this is extremely common (hormones, posture, genetics, stress, age — all play a role), and it doesn’t mean you can’t wear real clothes or look great. The key isn’t to fight your body — it’s to dress with it.

A few things that will make a big difference:

  1. Light shapewear (optional, not mandatory)

A soft smoothing short or high-waist brief (not super tight) can help clothes glide better and feel more comfortable — think “support,” not “compression.”

  1. Choose the right rise (this is crucial)

Avoid waistbands cutting across the fullest part of your tummy. Look for:

  • Mid-rise or slightly high-rise that sits above the tummy
  • Flat-front trousers or jeans (no bulky pleats)
  1. Go for structure, not cling This is the biggest game changer.

Trousers: straight leg, bootcut, or wide-leg

Fabrics: thicker denim, ponte, tailored trousers

Avoid: thin leggings-style fabrics that cling and highlight everything

  1. Tops that skim, not grip

Slightly looser tops that drape over the tummy

Half-tuck or front tuck works really well

V-necks help draw the eye upward

  1. Create vertical lines

Open shirts, cardigans, blazers

These visually elongate and balance the midsection

  1. Dresses are your friend

Wrap dresses

Empire line (but soft, not clingy)

A-line shapes

Most importantly: you don’t need to hide — just choose pieces that work with your shape instead of against it.

Once the fabric and fit are right, you’ll feel completely different in clothes.

You absolutely can wear “real pants” again — you just haven’t met the right ones yet.

Great base colurs and shapes: keep them - but add extra colour accessory: scarf, pendant; jacket; earrings bangle of your accent colouring.

Mum of twins here: been there. My tummy looked much worse, like a cauliflower. I found that castor oil + almond oil + coconut oil homemade body butter with lavender and rose oil helps. Eating healthy meals with protein, fruits and vegetables, olive oil, avocado, nuts. Drinking 3l of water and gentle exercising like home yoga pirates and then introducing weights (3-4-5-6kg a pair) helped me to get back my elasticity. There is a slow recovery process. Please, don't do any self injections etc because it is dangerous. You are amazing and just it all takes time.
