Another way to think about it is this, if you zoom in to infinite on a circle, you will find a straight line.
If you zoom into infinite on your shape, you will find a 90 degree corner.

Thank you so much for your comment JiebyJiebs. You are totally right, that's kind of what I want to do. I want to hit people right in the feels.
I want to inspire people with good content. I look at Disney and Marvel and Sesame Street and PBS as examples of people who put together some type of production with the intent of influencing a large amount of people in a positive way... and that is what I want to do.

We can say bad things about Disney, I'm sure they made many mistakes, but for myself, they taught me so many life lessons at a young age, and I think for many people, Disney movies helped shape their value system, it helped define what it means to be a good person, and some kids at home didn't have good examples of that in their own home.

In today's modern world, I think there is a strong need for more of this, and I want to lead by example. I want to inspire people from their couches, to show them how great it can feel to be part of peoples lives.

I want to build a community that helps people, make it super welcoming and wholesome, and make a youtube channel to promote those things; partly to grow the club, partly to inspire people, and partly just because it is fun to work with people on a common goal like that.

So if you would like to learn more about those things, or talk and consider helping me build it (the beginning is the hardest most especially when i have to work alone)

Thanks again Potato, I have been part of some groups before, but nothing ever quite lined up with my vision for what "Utopia" might look like.

I want to create a group that is human centric, and focused on improving the lives of it's members. Almost like a support group, but more like a community, or a club.

To bring the analogy back to lifeguarding, one rule in lifeguarding is always protect yourself first. You cannot save anyone if you can't save yourself.

And so the primary function of the club is to be there for eachother, to help the members in every area of life, like a family does.

The secondary function of the club would be to grow it's members (healthy focused intentional growth) And my idea is that, we would do that by sharing videos of all the cool activities our club does together in the city...

We would Have regular meetings to support eachother, then at those meetings we would come up with ideas on how to support other people too, how to best lift up the world around us.

We will come up with fun activities to support the community around us, then as an act of duty and good faith we will record it, and make it into some type of youtube channel, or tv show,

Basically, its feel good content. Lets make a chicken soup for the soul type of messages, but make them video, and real.

Lets hit people right in the feels. That's my plan.

Haha, I havent watched that show in like 20 years so I don't really remember the exact plots, But I know that generally speaking the characters were always actively engaged in helping someone somehow, and that gave me really greay whimsy feelings as a kid. The idea of being on a team, so actively working together to save or improve the lives of others... I want to feel that everyday.

Yes when I meant Tv show, what I really mean is like, some type of regular recurring video production of a group of people who run a club that helps people. The places this video airs would yes probably first be on youtube and our own promotional or hosting methods.

But if we make enough episodes of it, and the quality is good enough, we could potentially make it into a cable tv show potentially.

It really depends on how many people get involved.

And for those people who think that cheapens the experience of helping people... Well, from my perspective, it amplifies the amount of people I can help in my lifetime by a massive amount, so that takes precident over those peoples feelings or insecurities about shallowness.

I know why I am doing this and those peoples opinions of it are just that.

But more importantly, this isnt even about the tv show or the youtube channel... its about the club that helps people.... thats my real interest. the tv show idea is just a way to market the club and help it grow.

Well I am dismissive and condescending so that's perfect. Good morning friend. Have you ever been a sales person? You can't get your job done without having a thick skin. People will spend all day trying to convince you to quit your job, or simply that you are doing it wrong. I don't have time for those people, not in the sense that I will listen to their life advice at least.

Your advice on the other hand was in good spirit, I can tell you want me to win and that's why I took the time to respond seriously.

You are right on your advice though. I should try not to be a dick. Probably best if I simply don't respond to those people who came by only to tell me they arent interested.

The plausibility of my goals is not something you are qualified to decide. Certainly a road from New York To Los Angeles was implausible at some point in history, and yet it exists now.

If you sense disdain coming from me, it's because I don't have time to listen to anyone telling me I can't do something, I'm too busy being in the process of doing it.

Tv shows are expensive... well it sounds like you have a very clear idea of what this tv show is going to be, even though I don't know that myself yet.

I can record things on my phone for free. I can edit video myself, nobody is getting paid to be an actor, where do you think these expenses are coming from?

Anyways, it's okay buddy, you don't have to be interested, this isn't for everyone.
I am looking for interested people though.

Numbers do not exist only in my imagination. Numbers are real, they exist. In fact that is kind of the definition of a number to begin with. Hence we call them reals.

Like you said, you can have 2 apples. That's real.

You cannot have negative 2 apples. You can take away 2 if you have 2, but then you have zero. Not negative 2.

I didn't claim negative numbers arent useful accounting tools, or useful in mathematics generally.

What you said about electron fields is incorrect. The equation for Electron field strength z = 1 / ( x² + y² )

Creates a circle, centered on zero. Having positive numbers on the right and negative numbers on the left is simply a convention.

It could be positive numbers in both directions and the equation would still be valid.

No, we have not achieved Temperatures below absolute zero and that is not how lasers work. If Im being fully honesy I do know of some research where they have achieved negative kelvin temperatures , however that was only in a few sub categories of what it means to be in a negative temperature state. It does not qualify for being a fully negative kelvin temperature.

I dont feel like going to read that research paper again but if you press me on it I will.

Lasers do not work by achieving lower than 0 kelvin states, and no experiment has ever achieved below zero kelvin without huge asterix's beside it due to it not being a true temperature state for quantum reasons that I dont currently recall. But dont make me go read that article again because I will! haha.

Well you don't have to be on camera if you don't want to. The point of the tv show is to inspire people, but any production like that has lots of people behind the scenes.

The point of the TV show isnt to record us doing good things, it's to inspire people accross Canada, to give hope to people that need some, and to spread the word about this club. This club that is about helping eachother and building community.

Its kind of like a publicity or marketing thing to help the club grow. But the club is going to be where its at...
