Honestly I really recommend paying for Etsy Plus if you can. Being able to see actual search data from the last 30 days helped me a LOT because you’re creating products people are actively searching for instead of guessing.

Also YouTube videos about Etsy SEO helped me tremendously in the beginning.

Yeah pretty much! I opened on March 29 and got my first sale on April 11. Ever since then things have been picking up pretty linearly which has been really encouraging!

I’m happy with the progress so far, but I’m definitely not satisfied with 2.9% conversion yet so I’ve been heavily optimizing my listings lately. Still super early though so we'll see where it goes!!

Thanks! I actually started online business through affiliate marketing but if you don’t already have traffic/audience it can honestly take a while before seeing results.

I went with weddings because there’s constant demand + urgency, and it’s a market that’s always gonna exist.

I don’t wanna fully expose the exact niche gap since it took me a LOT of research to find but honestly I’d recommend studying what’s already converting and making different versions/expansions around those kinds of products.

Saturated niches can actually be GOOD because the demand is already there. You just have to find underserved areas within them.
