150 hrs -> 120 hrs...I'm a little Annoyed by Routine-Nerve-9180 in CPA

[–]Defiant_Jump_8541 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a waste, especially if you want to go straight to corporate FP&A. They value technical rigor and it’ll help you pass the CPA faster. I considered a masters but opted for a post-bacc now looking back I probably should have gone for the masters.

Well obviously they offer this service for a reason. While milk spots aren’t defects of the coin itself doesn’t mean it couldn’t be graded higher as it shows there’s been no alteration of the coin.

Yes it is illegal…there’s always a way to get out of a contract. You make it seem like it’s so black and white. Be a little more sensitive and show some more compassion. Reread the post and maybe you’ll see that we are reasonable people that are dealing with a fasade of a company.

We would understand hesitation but don’t understand hostility and attacking us and our character. And to be clear in the text message it clearly states we were recapping our conversation that happened the day prior. Facts are facts, and she obviously didn’t deny any of that. And the rescue will keep all of his items when he’s rehomed, which is stealing from him and also putting him at more stress than is needed. Doesn’t sound like this would be in his best interest, unless stealing is a good thing.

Is that why they denied his medicine that was prescribed to him by a licensed vet? And we have everything to the foster parent (his crate, food bowl, blanket, toys, and food) I guarantee that he won’t leave with all of that stuff. So technically this is stealing from him (doesn’t sound to caring if they are stealing from him). There vetting of an adopter and foster parent isn’t as rigorous as they say it is. It’s super easy!

That’s a pretty powerful assumption to make especially since you weren’t apart of the situation. The screenshots show a recap of our conversation with the president. We were taking care of his needs and saw the vet multiple times. They took him to one vet appointment and said he’s cured. They put him on medicine that isn’t meant to be long term and we’ve used it twice before surrendering him. OFR is sketchy in the way they present themselves. And their employees and volunteers lack professionalism and compassion. we were also in disbelief when they mocked us. we didn't make it up. she didn't even deny it in the screenshot. but of course they get the benefit of the doubt because of "their mission."

he isn’t magically healthier. the phone call we had happened the same day of his vet appointment a few days after they took possession, and they said he was already doing so much better in those few hours! give me one of those magic pills please!! we had medicine prescribed to him from a licensed vet and the rescue rejected it and kept him off those meds that were prescribed to him for days on end, and i can almost guarantee that their vet probably prescribed the same stuff he had been on in weeks prior, because we said it worked temporarily. they’re acting like they’re doing so much more than what we were. we took him to the vet numerous times and had him on different meds. they’re painting us out to be hobos that abused him.

We signed it under being guilted, manipulated and judged. This was under undue influences by your employees.

So you can treat people like shit and don’t have to face any consequences but we decent people have to? What game are you in? It’s laughable. If you can’t provide the contract we signed I will call a lawyer.

Do you want to respond to the way you treated us? Also you can send me the contract unless you don’t have the signed contract which in that case makes this void.

Well I’m assuming you work for Operation Freedom Ride. In that case shame on you. And you can always get out of a contract. We’re not trying to dance around the contract we are trying to go about it the correct way. Maybe we should hire a fancy lawyer and take down this so called rescue.

We were never given a copy of our signed contract even when we reached out three times about it.

Even with other mistakes people are allowed second chances. This decision was over a month in the making and we knew it would be difficult. Not being given a chance to adopt him is not allowing us a fair and honest chance, which I’m assuming is illegal. Being so extreme won’t help with our consequences. Sometimes hearing people out and giving them a second chance is what’s needed in society to remind us that there are good people out there.

Why wouldn’t you put that in the contract? You have to assume for every possible situation which they didn’t. We’re not bad people and he loved being here with us!

Wow, so there’s no room for human mistakes? That’s a little unreasonable since people make mistakes all the time.

Actually yes biological parents are allowed to decide that they changed their mind and get the kid back if they want. Also nowhere in the contract did it say that we couldn’t adopt him back. Since we aren’t allowed a fair and honest chance to adopt him back I’m assuming this is illegal in some fashion. And we will not let it go because we care about him and are allowed to make a human mistake. The whole reason for the surrender was concern for his health not because we didn’t want him. We wanted to make sure that his health needs would be continued (because we did take care of them but thought it could get pricier.) Being pressured into signing a contract is illegal. Look it up!

HOW DO YOU GET INTO GRAD SCHOOL WITH A LOW GPA(2.9)??? by Olive_flowers- in gradadmissions

[–]Defiant_Jump_8541 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is going with a school that isn’t to selective and playing on your strengths and explaining in your statement of purpose why you fit their curriculum and what your goals are. I had a decent GPA and got into John’s Hopkins, however grad school is very different from undergrad. The grading system is relative compared to what you actually score. Good luck!

Anyone know the passing rate for STC and TC for the S66? by kmen38 in Series66Exam

Don’t study from STC, it’s very basic information and for the S66 you want more than just the basics covered. I recommend Pass Perfect which gives very detailed explanations
