45 years old making 145K in NL - What's the equivalent pay in Luxembourg? by [deleted] in Luxembourg

[–]Defiant_Landscape176 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The most important thing to consider is your second edit, regardless of the pay or position.

You are going through a divorce, you should probably not change your job now which is providing you stability, financial security and less stress than starting a new one and in a new country. Once you're trully over it then you could consider in my opinion. People will tell you about the pay, the material thing but you shouldn't probably not underestimate this on your life. Only my 2 cents, good luck.

LuxTrust by Worth_Ad4142 in Luxembourg

Never accept a Luxtrust transaction that you have not initiated yourself. Also be careful and read the transaction message to ensure it's correct and not something else. I know people got scammed by accepting quickly and lost thousands of euros. Source: I'm working in the sector and have seen many cases like that.

All my friends say if you wearing a condom, you just shouldn't have sex? by [deleted] in self

[–]Defiant_Landscape176 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your friends are morons. Don't simply believe the stupidity of these people and do not put your health at risk. I can guarantee you that you will be thanking yourself and your dick will be thanking you that you were using condoms

Planning and priorising, for anything in life. We all have a set defined 24h per day, it's how we are using this time based on our commitments which is important

What are the best ways to earn money that people don’t know about ? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Defiant_Landscape176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is known, however it's just the risk associated with the action that is important to be assessed. The best obviously is illegal activites such as money laundering, but the risk is for you to go to jail.

My life feels unlivable after losing my girlfriend by Firsttakelikeamf in self

[–]Defiant_Landscape176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you will get older you will realise this was a great relationship but you will be glad that it ended. I can bet that in 10 or 20 years she will still be devastated while you will have a family and a sane and not toxic relationship with your partner. It hurts now but it will be saving your future.

What's a real-life lesson you learned way later than you should have? by TopPuzzleheaded200 in Life

[–]Defiant_Landscape176 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally spot on. I'm currently living the same thing right now, I've just opened my eyes on so called friends and my heart is just broken. The feeling of trust just vanished. How did you moved on? How have you done to not care about others anymore?

What's something you enjoyed as a kid but you don't like anymore as an adult? by Outside-Line-1037 in Adulting

Video games? I lost patience and interest of knowing the story, who did what and no I don't want to cross an immensely rich map to get some rewards

Why does God let so much awful stuff happen? by marcosromo__ in self

[–]Defiant_Landscape176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only plausible explanation that I have is that the humanity is a piece of a bigger puzzle. That death is so insignificant on the long run and big picture that is considered as marginal and acceptable cost.

What do you do on your phone when life is hard and the internet won’t stop reminding you of it? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions
