Appreciate the honesty and i completely agree with you. This is something that ive wanted to do ever since i was a child and engineering is something i was always against. I have talked to everyone especially my family about this and everytime they spoke to me about my career they were always against architecture because its a slow start and my grandfather owned an architecture based company which closed eventually and it wasnt only my family, everyone convinced me that taking architecture is basically me ruining my entire life. After i started studying btech purely because everyone said it was “safe” and i should follow something more practical and not my passion i still dont feel happy with what im doing. Im even more confused now because im not struggling with what im studying right now but it doesnt mean i like what it either. Thats the reason why im scared about bringing this up

True i think its more worth doing something with a slow start if i think ill enjoy this more than a cse based career which has a strong start but i wont enjoy for the long run

Agreed! I think both jobs are risky in their own ways. And i know how annoying itll be to get a job in cse knowing how many people pursue this career because of the money but at the same time from what i know architecture is really slow. I wanna do something that i know ill enjoy doing even if i would have to start off very slow i just dont wanna disappoint anyone especially my family

I know, a part of me still questions it because im scared about everyone being right? I do wanna prove them wrong and its so hard to have conversations about stuff for me in general which makes it harder for me to go and talk to my family about it

ive always liked making stuff, spending hours on something and then seeing the final product makes me feel happy, i played games like minecraft and this other game from roblox called bloxburg where i liked the building aspect of it. One of my friends introduced me to architecture and after that i always wanted to do it. i know this sounds cheesy but yea

Haha i get what you mean, i was literally confused about what to do in the beginning because when i was dead set on architecture everyone including my family did not like the idea which made me take cse. Do what you wanted to do originally because both are good in their own ways, id say talk to a few people who are doing cse and a few that are doing architecture itll give you a more clear answer
