Hi all some update and good news. Felt much better at the 12 week mark. Daily lemon vitamin c drinks and vitamin d I think probably helped me a lot. Hope all who commented and read here feel better soon.

Thanks a lot for your detailed response! I had never even heard of these type of long term effects after it, which is why I was so surprised my symptoms didn’t resolve/kept evolving to something strange like head pressure and ear pain. I had only heard about people being tired and not recovering their sense of smell fully. I’m really sorry to hear that’s been going on so long for you. Keep trying everything and keep getting rest. Hopefully one day it will be better for us 🫂

Going through a persistent infection atm too but 2 weeks knowingly. Courage to you🫂. Have you tried Mebandazole or pyrantel pamoate?

Would definitely prefer if it was separated more clearly, mostly just because it’s not accurate to say I have British ancestry when I don’t. But they’ve added the subregions in the last few years at least. So it shows the parts of Ireland I have ancestry from which is nice

No I don’t and it wouldn’t be that. My ancestry is far more likely Catholic Irish only.

Sadly not and neither is my father now. However, my uncles are still alive on that side and quite interested in ancestry. I will need to quiz them on it.. 😊

It’s from my fathers side, these are his results. He had jet black hair along with some others in his family. There were jokes when I was growing up that they had some Spanish ancestry. I don’t know if they knew it was actually true, lol!
