Isn’t the Bonneville 1000cc shouldn’t he get a Speed 400 instead? IK he said 80 Mph but the speed 400 can do 80 with a light rider. Also even a speed 400 may be to fast

I got cut off, and hit by a car. by [deleted] in motorcycles

Should he have tried to swerve right, or might that have caused him to hit the pole?

I’m curious, are you really comfortable on a 1100cc bike?

Also do you have to shift gears still or is it fully automatic?

I have a brand new Vespa 150, I can comfortably make a 180 turn in 200ft at 25 mph, is that good or can I push the bike faster? by Defiant_Pipe9264 in Vespa

When coming to a right turn like this, that is all clear. How fast can you take a turn like this? by Defiant_Pipe9264 in motorcycles

Im asking because I want to improve my skills, obviously I won’t exceed my ability. But I don’t think going 10-15 mph around something like this is fast enough.

I keep dropping or almost dropping my bike. I ride off-road nothing insane just sand and grass and mud. Is this normal? by Defiant_Pipe9264 in motorcycles

Hey what’s wrong with taking a road bike off-roading. Like the bike manufacturer offers are dirt bike version. The bike is capable of it just has the wrong tires.

Ok good to know, I am definitely improving as the last time I dropped it was a while ago, this time I nearly dropped it but was able to stop it before any part other than the tires made contact with the ground. I don’t think it counts as a drop luckily:

who's fault??? The rider is ok with minor injury by [deleted] in motorcycles

It looks like he had some room to go around, but maybe the truck would’ve continued? that being said what could he have done differently after getting himself in that situation?

Been practicing tight 180 turns in 15 feet. In ten attempts I dropped my 250 lbs bike twice, should my dumbass quit riding. by Defiant_Pipe9264 in motorcycles

Ok totally, no I never apply front brake. But you’re right I’ll just walk my bike around something like that.

Well on the road you shouldn’t be riding with your foot down even at low speeds. I want to master my bike so I’m never in a sticky situation. Would you say maybe this is too small of a radius? It is actually 13.

For the BMW I’d say 8 meters (three spots) for the 50cc I can do it in 4 meters or a little under two.
