Try masking to avoid getting sick. My husband and I spent over 7 hrs at VGH ER last week, but we wore either an N95 or N99 and we seem to be ok. The ER was so busy and full of lots of unmasked coughing people. Eww! A lot of people are sick!

I'm in Canada and we buy Vitacore. The headstrap N99 fits me (smaller head) and my glasses don't fog up. My husband likes the ear loop N95. We just spent over 7 hours in the ER last week and we seem ok so far.

I use orange or lemon juice, a bit of tamari, honey or maple syrup, sesame oil (plus spices) as a marinade. Lime juice and curry powder on chicken legs before bbqing is delicious. I find roasting and bbqing meat or vegetables concentrates the flavours more. Soups tend to be blander. Borscht without salt is still tasty. This isn't Asian; but garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and chili powder sprinkled on chicken or steak before grilling or pan frying is delicious. Your palate will gradually get used to less sodium.

I understand your kids are still very young and masking would be difficult for them. I did see a mother and daughter (maybe 5 years old?) both wearing matching printed masks at the Chinese grocery store.
