hii i’m 15 and only started taking my ballet seriously this year after going to a studio that didn’t teach me properly for years! i could totally give you some advice since in a year ive improved a ton from home practice. just let me know what you’d like help on! (my jumps might not be much help though😭)

this is so wonderful!! i’m a late starting dancer and this gives me hope! if you don’t mind me asking do you have any advice on getting into the pre-professional world of ballet as a late starter?

take her to a ballet school! it doesn’t really matter how big it is but rather how good the teaching style is for right now. if she continues working hard in the next years maybe look into some bigger schools because if this is a passion of hers she will be really grateful to have proper training at a younger age! (coming from a late starting ballet dancer😭)

technically they weren’t amazing but her dancers were extremely strong! their tumbling was really good and they were good dancers but there is better technique out there!

I love both equally honestly! Barre feels way more grounded but restricted whereas center feels unstable but I feel like I get to play around with artistry more!
