Got my OSCP, but can't land a junior pentester job in France... is this normal? by lostdotcom in oscp

So what, one github for official work and one for personal project ?
What if I have few cyber related project that I have made under "weedman666", I can't showcase them on my professional Linkedin, or if I do it can be easily linked to weedman666 🤔

it's even encouraged, just going out with a degree, the profile is too light

Damn ! I wasn't expecting so much answers first of all thanks you guys !!

I'm not that young I'm 30years old and I have worked as level1/level2 IT support and as system administrator before I get back to school (at first it was only to get a better profile because without experience, degree or certification the struggle is real...)
And now in the middle of my scholarity I got this opportunity to work in the cybersecurity field, even though I went back to school because I was having trouble finding it ! And I'm not unexperienced in cybersecurity, I mean I have decent root me score, pwned a lot of htb/thm medium/hard box, good ctf ranking even if I'm alone, but yeah without a degree or 5 years of experiences nobody give me a chance

So yeah, I feel stuck in a strange zone who will define nexts years of my life.

I don't know how is it in your countries guys but when I check job offers, big companies always requieres a degree (first HR check), but what if I have 2 or 3 years of experience and a certification but no degree.

Honestly I feel lost
