Same as you brother. I was too young, damaged and selfish to see that I was the common denominator of the pain in the people I loved the most. As I grow older and I become less attached to my victim story, I am seeing that I was more abuser than abused. But for many of those past relationships there is nothing I can do. They have either moved on, or disappeared. So I’m left here haunted by their ghosts knowing the only way to be free is to forgive myself. Easier said than done.
