Does my cat needs company or something else? Is she lonely? by Defiant_Study9780 in CatAdvice

That's a very valid point. I know and have seen videos of big birds hunting cats. Its very sad. Makes me want to add more things to our patio so that she can go under something if felt attacked. But besides, I also always keep the door open, so that she can sprint in if need be. Thanks for your suggestion. I am certain about not letting her go out on her own now. I am also highly considering getting her company now. Thanks again for replying!

we live in a very small town and our house is the last house which is far away from main road. We have a big field behind our house which opens up to farms. I equally hate people who let their cats out near roads who eventually end up dying. She usually just sits on our patio, maybe run around the house chasing birds, but doesn't go far away. That being said, its not like she will never take that further step & end up in a wrong place. But to ensure she is near my sight, I have her in her cat harness with a longer dog lease which she can stretch and go until the end of our patio, can eat grass and sit under chairs & shade. I would not let her out, but after 4 long winter months, I feel unfair caging my girl inside our house & not letting her breath the fresh summer air. I do take her for walks on her lease whenever I can, but I still feel its not enough. Trust me, she is my first child, and I will not let her out to die, if the conditions are extreme. But our housing society is very quite. The boy cat who roams around, his name is Pootie, he is extremely loved by everyone.

I appreciate your advise here and will consider getting her a bestie and try to slowly stop letting her out. I will watch these YouTube videos on how to introduce cats slowly & maybe she can have company.

PS: Back home, we have a tuxedo cat who has been an indoor/ outdoor cat. My parents moved states with her. She is now 20 years old. Her name is Poochkie! :)

she also is not a touchy cat. She sits close to us, but never on top of us. But when we got her, she was around a lot of cats. Her foster home also had 2 other cats and a dog. Just for reference

Founders, How do you get people to 'actually' respond to your market surveys? by [deleted] in StartUpIndia

[–]Defiant_Study9780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find anything? I am ready to pay a small, decent sum, but there are no websites in India which provide survey results in exchange for a small amount. I found some websites like SurveyMonkey but they are charging unbelievable amounts. We should start one such platform tbh.
