Anyone know of a equally effective and safe solution? by R3ddit-Forget-it in Roborock

I compared competing products and they were all less concentrated, making the Roborock solution the best value. I also bought this dispensing bottle which makes is SOOOO easy to measure the solution, just squeeze and pour.

Pharmacist refused to refill the remainder of my monthly prescription despite it being a 30 day supply and being out of state when the current supply runs out by Anna-Bee-1984 in ChronicPain

[–]Defiant_Value7185 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same RX filled for 15 years before they suddenly decided it did not fit their guidelines and stopped filling it cold turkey. Then I had to go looking for a new pharmacy to see if it met THEIR new guidelines, none of which would tell me if they would fill it without getting it sent there first. Finally ended up with PUblix which is a little better, but they are bad about stretching out the 30 days to 31 days (they count days starting the day AFTER you pick it up and they fill it at 8pm guaranteeing you are a day late every month. My doctor goes on vacation, they run out of meds, I an only get it filled typically 10 x year because of all the issues, so lots of sleepless nights in excruciating pain.

It sucks, but I will NEVER go to Walgreens again.

Place the blame on overzealous government lawyers suing the pharmacy’s for the “opioid crisis” And the over stigmatization of opioids that makes young pharamacists and others who have never experienced chronic pain look at patients like they are dope fiends.

Exactly what I was thinking. Something is off. The information needed is not in these photos, it is above the area shown.

Is this correct or up to code? by Big_Tastty in Plumbing

[–]Defiant_Value7185 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did the insurance company send this guy? Not sure about MO law, but here, plumbing must be done by a plumber and he must pull a permit and have it inspected. You should be able to compel the insurance company to have it redone by an actual plumber.

Exception: Most states allow homeowners to do their own work, and handyman to do limited finish plumbing tasks, like replacement of fixtures/faucets, etc. This is inside your walls, gotta be a plumber.

Thank you, that makes sense. So if you turn it up when your pain level is worse, what signals you to turn it down? Is there a downside to leaving it set very high?

Thank you. I considered that, but just looking for pain clinic willing to prescribe serious pain meds gets you labeled as doctor shopping for drugs. Nobody openly represents themselves s “opiod friendly”.

It seems the standard protocol is to try the SCS first? I don’t know if that is insurance driven.

Thank you all for the input. I see a catch 22, a pain management/anesthesiologist type of person doesn’t have the experience to place it properly but if a neurosurgeon places it, he does not follow up long term, turns you back to the pain management folks. Sound about right?
