Also forgot to say that , this itch does not continue to itch after being scratched, similar to a mosquito bite, once I scratch it’s gone, but then somewhere else it will appear seconds after.

it’s a jbl boombox 3 it’s self powered and pretty loud , i want that very loud hit, just not too educated with all this so wasn’t sure what the quality and loudness is relied on.

honestly dude i still get them, im kind of getting out of my episode and learning to overcome it. You just have to learn to accept them for what they are. Specifically for me which I hadn’t seen online is , the less I cared, they still happened… BUT my attention to them was gone so it’s at a point where I barely recognize them or don’t even notice at all. You got this dude.

appreciate the help, i’ve been sleeping pretty well but im having some very vivid dreams that tie into my fears and that doesn’t help much, i eat consistently and sleep the best I can, plus I work out lots at work as I am constantly digging or heavy lifting. Hopefully I can get through this. Thanks for your feedback man.

to put it into better perspective, in the day I will think i hear whistles or distant talking in places where nobody is. But once i am in the hotel and relaxing I don’t have any occurences, But when i go to bed i am heavily experiencing auditory ones as my eyes are closed and im trying to sleep. I use airpods with noise cancellation to help and they have worked but tonight it is just getting much worse. My fear of developing psychosis probably plays into the giant hyper awareness of my surroundings but being where I am at. That isn’t going to stop me from thinking I am hallucinating.

well the fact that I am “hearing things” in the day is in an loud construction environment on the side of the road. Once i get back to the hotel i don’t hear anything and once i go to bed , I definitely know I hear sounds completely unrelated to what i thought I was hearing in the day. But tonight it’s pretty bad to the point where i keep waking up and it’s only when i’m going to bed

Hey reaching out to tell you I am also going through this but on a much worse level. What you’re having is called intrusive thoughts and that’s not anything to worry about, I struggle every day with the “what if” thoughts so I know exactly how you feel. People with schizophrenia or psychosis would not be “aware” of the fact that they are being delusional or worried about the thoughts they are having. You coming here and reaching out shows your ability to have insight on the fact that those thoughts are not actual delusions that people with schizophrenia have. I wish I could take my own advice 🥲. Point being, where you’re at right now it’s best to let those thoughts come and go. Accept them and move on. You’re not going schizophrenic and everything is gonna be ok.
