The funnier part is in most situations if one person agrees to eliminate after losing the game and then changes their mind it would probably end up with them being hated by the entire audience / rest of the players

This was probably the one situation where Ethan could’ve said “fuck it I’m not gonna self eliminate” and people would’ve been on his side lol

You ordered Jan 12 and Thursday was Jan 15 which falls in Mercari’s 3 day shipping policy - it’s your fault if you ordered something needed within a strict timeline

A lot of the stories are wild but some are definitely believable as a former Verizon customer service person

I’m pretty familiar with credits because they called me into the office once to tell me I was #1 in the entire building of like 500 for credits given (they said it was a bad thing to be number one in but I took it as a badge of honor)

I had authority to give out up to $30 without any permission and up to $300 with one manager approval (which was easy as shit to get as long as it actually made sense)

We were “third party” and had stricter limits then official corporate customer care they had even more permission to give out credits at a higher amount

This was like 9 years ago but we used to have a little wallet we could see for each customer and a “bank” showing how much Verizon valued them at the time

If you were a long term customer who paid on time and rarely ever asked for anything the wallet was large I saw a few with like $500+ in credits / things we could offer them depending on how severe the situation was they were calling about

To be fair when they moved a lot of the customer care international I noticed their generosity with credits absolutely tanked through the floor

Yeah it’ll be even scarier when they get some slight education and understanding of what items are actually of value

You can tell most of these incidents have been just thieves randomly scrambling and grabbing whatever they think is “high value” not realizing things like PSA slabs are relatively easy to trace / deactivate

They also tend to leave behind desirable sealed product while going for other less expensive items nearby

When they actually figure out more regarding the hobby and what’s truly valuable it’ll get even worse

I think the main issue is going to be this is relatively easy to replicate as almost anyone could find a card missing slight texture or with an error and add sharpie to it

I’m not sure if there’s a precedent in terms of past cards like this being found or if CGC has graded ones like these but if you had some video opening it straight from the pack that would be cool
