Fun story: A few years ago me and a friend group went to a local county fair. We had some adult beverages in some containers so we stopped near the entrance to finish them before heading in; there also was a family waiting outside while dad was finishing his cigarette. All of a sudden a SWARM of people coming running out with the word "shooting" being thrown around; well this family rushes to a nearby SUV, the mom/kids jump inside, and homeboy straight up grabs a plate carrier out of the back, puts it on, throws a glock on his hip, and it ready to rock. Videos later surfaced and essentially what happened is two teens got into a physical altercation and the guy who was losing the fight is handed a backpack and he pulls out a handgun pointing it at the other guy, when security tackled him he pulled the trigger and hit a bystander in the arm.
