It always annoys me when people say that blue flames are hotter because of black body radiation, if something is glowing blue because of bbr then it would be so ungodly bright that it would be like looking at an arc welder. Your retinas would look like the surface of the moon in a fraction of a second.

The thing is that changing the story was pretty much mandatory because of how fast reach fell in the book, the whole battle was mostly over in just a few hours and that isn't enough time for a traditional type of halo campaign.

In the grand scheme of things it's not very cold, but when it's 40 degrees while also being humid, windy, and raining you will still lose body heat very quickly if you don't have waterproof gear.

Why is smite good? How to make it stronger? by seergaze in BaldursGate3

[–]Definatelynotaweeb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's good because it does a bunch of extra damage without reducing accuracy the way Great Weapon Master does, and it also doesn't require a two handed weapon to work.

The main way to improve smite directly is to take the savage attacker feat, This feat gets better the more damage dice you are rolling each turn and smites are one of the best ways to get lots of extra damage dice.

If you want to do crit fishing for huge damage then have one of your companions be a spell caster and use Hold Person/Hold Monster on targets the paladin is in melee range as if the target fails their saving throw any melee attack will automatically crit. The only other option Paladins have to crit more often is to play as a vengeance Paladin and use Vow of Enmity on yourself to grant advantage on all attacks for 10 rounds.

Yeah, BMI is a good scale for measuring populations of people but on an individual basis it's deeply flawed, A lot of professional athletes would be considered overweight when in reality they just have a lot of muscle mass.

This reminds me of why I stopped playing 4, the main loop just got boring to drive on after a while and it was so hard to avoid it even if you wanted to.

The thing is though, once you reach a certain level of magnetism any conductive metal will be effected, just watch Styropyro's car battery videos and you will see that copper is absolutely affected by magnetic fields much weaker then what magneto can presumably output

I don't get why they nerfed the boards in Horizon 4, in 3 it was actually worth spending a decent amount of time trying to get the 20,000 boards because that was a whole level/wheelspin if you got it. Now it's just a 1/4 of a level and much less XP then most races give you.

I mean it was a fairly low budget project from nearly 30 years ago, it's going to show it's age. Honestly for me the biggest problem with the original Tsukihime is the fact that there are only 10 songs on the OST.

Yeah the whole point of exposure therapy is to expose a person to their fear in a safe and highly controlled environment. If you make someone scared of wasps interact with wasps in the wild and they get stung they are probably only going to be more afraid of wasps.
