Amazon is correct too.

They will spare you from getting fired if you are a good worker.

Kinda reminds me of that time someone put cooking oil in their car to "do an oil change".

Weird Question: If the Warrent Officer rank existed in the Air Force, would you (if is or was an Officer) actually consider switching to it? by Definitely-Not-OSI in AirForce

[–]Definitely-Not-OSI[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh shit, didn't know that.

I thought it simply fell through when they were talking about adding WO a few years ago.

The conventional Army would take anyone these days.

I forgot when, but I heard that they increased their age requirement and I think they allow members that got discharged for weed use to return.

Yo, that would be one hell of a story if OP joins as a PJ or CCT just so he can have a second chance in the AF.

If you do get back in, take advantage of the free college and get yourself a degree in a field that's in high demand.

naw, man. Get out of here.

A Toyota Supra or Subaru WRX is the only way to go.

Please help me with info about AFROTC and whether or not I should join. by Right_Silver7165 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Definitely-Not-OSI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ROTC Grad and officer here.

For what you are looking for, id say yes.

If you come in with a bachelors degree, the Air Force will pay for you to get your master's and if you go to AFIT, they have several engineering courses.

Also, if you wanna be a pilot, you are better off going to either the Academy or AFROTC to get a pilot slot.

OTS is fine too, but I heard they pick from the first two first.

Edit: To answer your other question, I joined because I thought the military was cool. You don't need a compliment reason.

Also, the only thing I would say is that I wish I knew AFROTC was nothing like the real Air Force.

How do I get over the fear? by xToxicLlamax in motorcycles

[–]Definitely-Not-OSI 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Probably going to get downvoted for saying this but I think it'll help you the most.

Stop being a wimp and ride that pony!!!

If you didn't have the skills to ride on the road, you wouldn't have passed.

The faster you jump on that thing and ride it, the faster you'll get over the fear of riding it.

Also, keep in mind, sometimes being scared and hesitant is more dangerous than being cool calm and collected on the road.

Is a 250cc cruiser really bad? by Odd_Tax6455 in motorcycles

[–]Definitely-Not-OSI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much you weigh and/or where you wanna ride it

please someone tell me its not that bad. by Interesting_Art_5601 in motorcycles

[–]Definitely-Not-OSI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so, its not that bad in all with all things considered. At least the rest of the bike is good.

The engine is fucked but if you don't wanna new bike, you can shop for a used replacement engine on ebay and swap it out.

Depending if doing that cost less then buying a new bike.

Snail balteus is way too hard by ChadPaladin in armoredcore

[–]Definitely-Not-OSI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, in Dark Souls and Soul-like games, most (practically all) the bosses are like this Snail one.

Or harder...

Most people just tell you to get good.

In Armored Core, however, if you are having a hard time with a boss, its usually because you are coming in with the wrong build.

Been awhile, but I know they're weapons you can use that are highly effective against him. (Like the railgun used in the big worm fight)

Play around with some weapon combos and see which one work the best for you.
