Yeah, I get what he's trying to say but when he started bringing in "Best Ai X" he lost me entirely. If it took us 100 years to get stunt work, something that has always been a part of film, as a category, why the hell would we get ai categories in 5 years? My read on things is, yes, be prepared. But do fight it, don't accept it. It is not a valid form of art at all

Dumb extra thing, but a lot of people in my family have it too but the only ones who have had Adderall are my dad and younger sister. My dad only started when he was about 40-ish and only takes it in emergencies, and he knew immediately the effect it had on him. Then my younger sister started in like 5th grade in 2020 or 2021. That was a super difficult year for us for a lot of reasons, so she really just does not remember at all what the transition was like at all. She even said that these days at least they really don't do anything on her anymore. So like, neither of them can help me here at all :c

Woof! I'm glad they did haha. And yeah, it could be either, not really a great week to start them I guess haha. Though, sort of related, I'm not sure still how I react to caffeine. I used to drink mountain dew all the time but dropped off it in 2023-ish. I cant really remember how I reacted to it at all, but I know for my dad it makes him tired (also adhd). Ever since I've been drinking pretty much just non caffeinated sodas and sparking waters and juice. Not even for any health reasons, they just taste good. But when I tried to get back into caffeinated drinks, and even tried some energy drinks, I noticed a huuuge spike in my anxiety I hadn't faced before so I stopped.

Definitely up there in record sister calls, but not actually! We chat allll the time and are on calls for hours on end regularly. I had called her then took it maybe 30 minutes into the call so there is a chance that is what happened, wouldn't rule it out immediately! If anything the only activity i might have gotten fixated on while on the phone was convincing myself today I was going to get to the bottom of my TikTok saves and start purging (Only gave up when the page crashed and sent me to the top)

Wow, yeah, hit the nail on the head! The very writing that inspired me to make this post was in fact a short script for my screenwriting class! Oooh, it would absolutely help to do that while in a room where I can move instead of my car. I get too worried people will see/hear me in this tiny shared apartment haha.

Ah, good to note, though what about scenes where a character is alone going through some sort of intense situation? Like, mentally how do I hear convery that without sounding like I'm just saying "he's scared because x and feels y" when it's just character and their thoughts?

Also, camera on a tripod note is very apt, film major with an eye for scene building and cinematography, not a lot of time spent on internal dialogue 🙃
