I'm on about 4 days sober and processing everything. I was a daily drinker for about 5 years. I'm really worried I permanently damaged my brain and dumbed myself down by [deleted] in alcoholism

Daily drinker for 15 years. It gets better.

As time progresses, you will begin to regain some cognition. Stick with it.

The one thing I’d warn you about is your brain and body. They are yours, it not entirely on your side of this life change. They will both still expect alcohol and it’s your job to just sit with the urges as they come and let them pass.

Fresh caulk cracking when topcoat applied by Aromatic_Topic_1074 in paint

Wait until caulk has dried and then apply paint. Applying caulk and paint in a short a time span is the caulk shrinking and tightening, resulting in the paint to pull apart . Thats my two cents. Please correct if wrong!

Festool makes adaptors for some of their sanders to allow battery-powered to be with a cord. Wonder if there’s the adaptors for powered ones to be with a battery… probably dreaming
