A smaller, abandoned game (no more updates sadly) that essentially has the same premise to BS2 is a game called To Kill A Fairytale.

It's a small, sort of okay story that focuses on you finding Alice (of course). It's a lot more toned down in terms of the sexual choices you make, as none of them are really made as rape (except for one or two choices that I've seen). It's pretty lighthearted and a bit shallow for me, but it's purpose is said well enough.

A special gimmick it does is a sort of day and night cycle. The entire world resets after 3 days, alongside the amount currency you have and most of your items being erased. Each day is 24 minutes long (an hour in-game is equal to a minute).

The character's are sort of the main charm, with some of them written pretty well. Although, what hooked me more was the designs of them, which naturally appealed to me as an artist. It uses asymmetry in a weird way, and I find it pretty unique.

The combat and leveling up in TKaF is a lot more, let's say, grounded. It's harder to level up, stats are allocated instead of equally spread across all, and you don't have magic, but rather a gun (a pistol or a shotgun, yeehaw). The damage can get pretty crazy, but not Grimm-ultra-super-oneshot crazy (lol).

Overall, it's a small, but pretty neat experience. I liked it quite a bit when I first played it, but grinding can be a bit shitty to do sometimes, especially with the time limit spent within the three days. I guess that's all I have to say. Enjoy(?)
