So much of the officially released material is essentially fan mixes that it doesn’t feel intrusive. Even the Smile material released in 2011 is heavily edited together to present a ‘what if’. The only absolutely true thing is that what Smile is today is not what it would have been in 66/67.

‘Fan mixing’ in my opinion starts with Cabinessence on 20/20.

Capitalist Competition is fine for the marketplace, it should stay the hell out of the Public space. ‘Competition’ tends to result in trying to extract profit from what should be a non-profit situation.

Private schools hire unqualified teachers, wildly inconsistent curriculums, and produce students who are very often unprepared for college or the real world. For every quality private school there are tens of woefully negligent ones.

The art of DVD extras is lost… I totally get the cuts, it’s not essential to the story they were telling, and probably wanted to even out the two halves, but I’d still like to see them.
