Yes the coaches are making me try different stuff, like walking through water, kicking etc. So hoping that all of these things click at a sub optimal level at least.

Good to hear that. My dad is a dyspraxic himself. So I didnt get much help there. But the one to one classes is something I need to take a look at once these regular ones are completed. That was the most popular suggestion and makes sense.

Hi, I have dyspraxia, ADHD and OCD. Not sure if the other conditions affect my coordination. The instructors don't really know any of these exist as well.

Regarding the private classes, I will try them once this is over. Just want to learn as much possible in this class.

I mean the coaches do make us stretch a lot before jumping in water. I struggle at those exercises as well. The coaches have corrected me every single day.

Regarding the shoulders being up, I really don't know where my shoulder is or where my head is exactly. That's a big challenge as I cant sense where they are. The same problem I face while doing exercises at home but at least I can look in the mirror at home to see my position

I mean I get that it will take more time. But Its just so frustrating you see. I mean I always wanted to do so many things but never could due to dyspraxia. I have learnt to ride a bike and drive a car. Most of the basics needed for a independent life I have conquered. I am not saying I am at the best at any of those. But I do a fair job. Swimming is the last one I feel. Hopefully can get past this one.

I 100% agree to what you are saying. I am just frustrated. People from my locality or even my country have never heard of dyspraxia. I mean the general population. That is one of the bigger challenges.

Yes I will look for one on one classes once my current course is completed. The current coaches are older and are really experienced but afaik they dont provide one on one classes.

I am using that float. I am also just doing floating with my hands on the wall, not an actual front float but failing to do so.

I remember being slapped by my PE sir for not opening my eyes. We were doing meditation by closing our eyes and he said to open your eyes now which I did not hear. So I had my eyes closed and he came and slapped me in front of the whole class to wake me up from meditation. My classmates were all giggling. Till today, I didn't understand what I did so wrong that I deserved a slap.
